Whyte Rushan strange how I got here, but I was driving home and on 95 BFM, I got to write the artists down from the Drive show, so here we are, and what I really came for was the Carbaret Nocture track I heard at twenty past six in heavy traffic Favorite track: Sunburst (Hardway Bros Outer Space Interpolation).

about

Sigward & Oliver Sudden are two of the brightest stars in the bourgeoning Den Hague electronic music scene. It's there that they operate the phenomenal Amateur Records together with their partner Gisberto. Oliver Sudden might be a new name to some of you, but he's definitely someone to keep an eye on and just so happens to be one of our favourite Djs. Sigward is probably already in the record box of all die-hard Beachcoma fans though, thanks to his massive Drama In Twilight Town EP that remains one of our most treasured releases. Together they form a formidable duo and we're extremely excited to present them on Beachcoma #41.

Sunburst rolls in quiet and steady like an ominous fog, but soon reveals itself for the tsunami that it is. One of the biggest bass-lines you will ever hear is surrounded by a swirling haze of finely-placed percussions, trippy synths and arpeggios that drip from every corner.

Next up we have a huge remix from none other than Sean Johnston under his Hardway Bros guise. His DJ project with the legendary Andrew Weatheral - A Love From Outer Space has been taking over the world as of late, but his own productions are perhaps even more exciting. His Outer Space Interpolation of Sunburst is outstanding with it's relentless, yet utterly captivating groove.

Last, but in no way whatsoever least we have Atma Atma, a much more introverted affair, revolving around wonky synth-patterns and pulsating bass sounds. The gooey, detuned synthesizers remain though, slowly building towards the introduction of the song's playfull, yet off-putting central theme.

about

Beachcoma Recordings Berlin, Germany

As high school graduates, we feel it is our duty to inform as well as to entertain.
