about

It's with total excitement that we here at Beachcoma welcome back Deepfunk to our little family. Last year he gave us Mistakes Are Blue, a release with depth, subtlety and a lot of emotion. Now the Maltese magician is back with an outing that is faster, harder, but just as captivating and special.
The title track Musca is a mid-tempo brain-fryer that is sure to destroy any dance-floor it comes in contact with. Winding arpeggios, swirling pads and relentless, mechanical drums bring us into a very haunting place indeed. Bring your compass, because there is no way not to get lost in this one.
Hydra is a much more contained affair, but has just as many secrets. Ominous, brooding and patient, it chases us steadily like a shadowy car in the rearview-mirror. This is dark, slo-mo techno perfection.

about

Beachcoma Recordings Berlin, Germany

As high school graduates, we feel it is our duty to inform as well as to entertain.
