about

*Beachcoma* is proud to welcome back our favourite Italian, *Low Manuel*. His first record for us was last year's The Beach which turned many a head and lit many a dance-floor on fire. His knack for making trippy, yet energetic synth-heavy tracks have earned him much respect and a place in the *Beachcoma* family. Now he's back with a brand new 2-tracker for 2015. Aptly-named opening track *The Storm* rolls-in like thunder and leaves no room to hide. A tribe of metallic robots drum relentlessly over an expansive and dissonant cloud of distortion as we are pummeled into submission. Squelching analogue filters flow in and out like tidal waves, howling like a gail-force wind almost to the point where we ask for mercy, only to then recede into the ocean where they came from.
Second up is *The Shark*, a less-intense, yet no-less exciting bit of indie goodness. Good-times-rump- shaking beats are offset by an unsettling, detuned voice that comes in and out to frighten us, but maybe also make us laugh. Put your hands in the air and come take a ride with us in the *Beachcoma* funhouse.

about

Beachcoma Recordings Berlin, Germany

We here at Beachcoma aim to not just stimulate your ears, but your fucking brains too. Techno is indeed a music of the body, but that doesnʼt mean it has to be shallow and superficial. That is why our track names, cover designs and indeed info sheets are often educational in nature.
As high school graduates, we feel it is our duty to inform as well as to entertain.
