about

One of the most intriguing of all of god's creatures is no doubt the Metope. Rarely captured alive, this reclusive mammal was thought to only exist in folklore and bedtime stories until one was captured and later house-trained by the German philanthropist Basti Roid in 1999. Found only in southern Greece, the Metope usually nests in small caves, although they have been known to do so in darkened courtyards as well.
The Metope's food of choice by far is a strange insect called the Spartak. These nocturnal worms gather by moonlight in large numbers in their nightly ritual of mating and feeding. The females get things going by gyrating their hind-sections and spinning in small circles. This is followed by the male worms competing one another by jumping as high as they can, in a pogo-like fashion. The Spartak is as energetic or hypnotic a beast as our planet has ever seen.
The most famous and beloved of all Metopes is a small male named Lock. A resident of the Berlin Zoo for almost a decade, this moody little fellow has been featured on the cover of several children's magazines and even had his own (short lived) animated series. The combination of Lock's rambunctious nature and his melancholic gaze give him the aura of a tragic Grecian hero. Lock is a classic.

Here is a summary of what the BIG world renowned dj/producers had to say about Spartak:

Basterhemroids: “Spartak is so huge, I can hardly bare to sit down when I hear this track”
Del Monte: “Fresh, straight out of the can”
Jack Fartly: “Fresh, straight out of my uterus...we support!”
Bi-Curious Duo- Dj team: “We feel love...on both sides”
DJ Assault Ausfahrt: “I’ll show you where I will drive this- Ich werde dir zeigen, wo ich kann dieses Laufwerk”
Mistress Barbie Malibu: “Lock is great!, it makes my non-existing plastic nipples go hard.
Koko B Ware: “Body Slam!!!”

Beachcoma Recordings Berlin, Germany

We here at Beachcoma aim to not just stimulate your ears, but your fucking brains too. Techno is indeed a music of the body, but that doesnʼt mean it has to be shallow and superficial. That is why our track names, cover designs and indeed info sheets are often educational in nature.
As high school graduates, we feel it is our duty to inform as well as to entertain.
